Updated my Tumblr Featured Posts Plugin!
New features:
Now uses the new Tumblr api functionality to retrieve only posts with a certain tag, rather than cycling through the entire post database for posts with a certain tag. This is about 30 times faster than before if you have 1000+ posts.
Now links to posts including their URL slug (better SEO, whoopee)

I just updated my Gmail “No Ads” Script. It now (optionally) automatically hides the sidebar next to e-mail threads as well.

The query that worked for me for my cycling community:

A 0.2 second query on ~120,000 rows, not too bad.

CSS: Chaining classes does NOT work in Internet...
Chaining classes in CSS declarations does NOT work in IE6, IE7 or even IE8. I can’t believe I just spent 4 hours debugging this…
For example: .span-16.last { width: 630px; } looks and works perfectly fine in Firefox and Safari/Webkit - it makes element <div class="span-16 last"> have a width of 630px.
But in any current version of IE, that actually means .last { width: 630px;...

IE6 Fixing: Beating the cache with PHP
Yeah everyone knows IE6 testing/fixing is lame. But the worst part about it by far is not being able to test because IE6 caching is beyond retarded, and doesn’t re-cache, like ever.
This is my method for IE testing websites:
